Name: Dan Ariely

Position: Director, eRationality Research Group & Director, Center For Advanced Hindsight

Biography: Dan Ariely holds two Ph.D. degrees - the first from the University of North Carolina in Cognitive Psychology and another from Duke University in Business Administration.

Mr Ariely currently works at MIT and Duke as a visiting professor, and he also is Director of both The Center for Advanced Hindsight and the eRationality Research Group.

He is the author of ‘Predictably Irrational: The Hidden Forces That Shape Our Decisions’ – a book on behavioural economics on decision making. During the years Dan Ariely has been a researcher at the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston and has been giving a numerous talks in universities as Harvard, MIT and Duke. Dan was one of the esteemed speakers of the TED conference in 2009.
